I was born in Finland. When I was ten years old my family moved to the United States and settled in the Bronx in New York City. I attended the High School of Music and Art and received a scholarship to study painting at the Brooklyn Museum Art School. I earned my degree in Architecture from The Cooper Union. After many years of working as an Architect in New York City, I have more recently studied watercolor painting at the National Academy School of Fine Arts and The Cooper Union. My paintings have been included in numerous solo, group and juried exhibitions throughout New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. I am honored to be an elected member of both The New Jersey Watercolor Society and The North East Watercolor Society.
